Tree Planting

Celebrate Arbor Month and plant a tree (or two or three!). Join Multnomah County, City of Gresham, and Friends of Trees as we grow Gresham's urban forest at Vance Park

Tree planting will take place on Wednesday, 4/19, from 10am - 12pm. Refreshments will be provided for all who join.

Gresham is celebrating its 9th year as a Tree City USA community, which means that the city has made a commitment to the urban tree canopy and its residents. This year, we have a special Arbor Day Proclamation reading with Councilor David Widmark to celebrate this commitment.

Among some of the trees we'll be planting, we're excited about the following trees:

+ Hogan Cedar (Gresham's city tree!)
+ Tulip Tree
+ Wildfire Tupelo
+ Magyar Gingko
+ Greenspire Linden
