The Pacific Northwest has millions of trees, but the benefits from trees aren’t experienced equally. John Wasiutynski, Director of the Office of Sustainability, will discuss the connection between trees and systemic racism, how trees can protect all communities from the climate crisis, and will explain how trees will play a vital role in addressing climate justice in Multnomah County.
