I have been a resident of the Centennial School District since 1992. I am married and have 2 daughters who have attended Centennial schools from kindergarten thru high school.

Being a member of the Centennial School Board for the last seven years has been a growing experience for me. It takes time to learn the ropes of how a school board operates effectively. How ever, I now feel like I can be a calming influence on a school board that will be facing turbulent times. My goal is to voice the concerns and values of the Centennial community in the decisions being made by the school board.

During my tenure on the school board I have witnessed a positive culture change in the Centennial School District. This has been brought about by a school board and administration that have a common belief that every child is valuble and deserves the best education we can give them. With the introduction of PLC's (Professional learning communities) and teaching coaches we are seeing some strong gains in state testing. I am excited to watch the continued growth of our schools in the years to come. This growth must be supported by a strong school board with a focused agenda.
