This project will be completed Spring 2017. Sections of 172nd Avenue, Stark Street, Orient Drive and Sauvie Island Road will be repaired and resurfaced.
The Skyland Plaza driveway will be replaced on Stark St. near Troutdale Rd. and a storm inlet will be added to 19th St. and Troutdale Rd. as drainage improvements.
This project makes it easier for trucks to navigate the curve on this section of 238th. It also improves access for people on bikes and on foot. The road reopened to traffic on December 3, 2021.
We will be making safety improvements to SW 257th Drive to make it easier and safer for all users to get around the corridor.
Arata Road was rebuilt between 223rd and 238th Dr. including sidewalk on the south and shared path on the north side. Work wrapped up in fall 2020.
Chip sealing is a process of spreading oil over a paved road and then covering the oil with a thin layer of small gravel.
This project will replace the Beaver Creek culvert under SE Cochran Road with a 60-foot long bridge. The existing culvert is too small and presents a barrier at times for fish passage.
This project replaced a stormwater pipe that runs under Corbett Hill Road. The pipe had deteriorated, causing the road to crack and sink.
This project paved NE Corbett Hill Road, from just south of Interstate 84 to the Historic Columbia River Highway.
NW Cornelius Pass Road was closed between Highway 30 and NW Skyline Blvd. from mid-July 2020 until September 29 to complete two safety improvements. The road has been transferred to ODOT.
This project will improve safety across the County by providing consistent curve warning signs consistent with national standards.
